Fleurs d'oranger Edition Zellige
Eau de parfum
Is the happy memory of Serge’s arrival in Morocco in 1968, the shock to the senses of his first encounter with the amazing aromas and his wonderment at “the women who were hitting the orange blossom trees with a stick and collecting the falling white blossom in large white sheets”. Unquestionably the scent of happiness!
"It's within us. A single whiff of this fragrance, drawn from the highly scented blossom of the bitter orange tree, augmented by a hint of civet, resonates within us " Serge LutensBefore I discovered Marrakech, I wasn’t interested in fragrance. But if Marrakech had just been a scent, it would have been devoid of meaning, because in Morocco I was going back to my own personal story, the history of my ‘Arablooking’ appearance. I can’t imagine that Morocco would have resonated so strongly if it hadn’t already been within me. Closely intermingling with maâlems, Moroccan master artisans, we let ourselves become enraptured with the arts and crafts and the amazing repertoire that this country, a direct descendent of the Moors, has passed on to us. There, I met artisans who sculpted wood, carved and affixed mosaics. Their hands have memories! Fragrances leave us their trailDressing up three of his iconic fragrances “Ambre sultan”, “La fille de Berlin” and “Fleurs d'oranger” for the 20th anniversary of this brand with its zelligeinspired geometric patterns, Serge Lutens delicately submerges us in his Moroccan universe, the cradle of his perfumery. In his now iconic olfactory creations, the perfumer Serge Lutens has for over 20 years been producing strong alcohols with Proustian accents. From “Féminité du bois”, to “Ambre sultan” and “La fille de Berlin”, each perfume tells their own exceptional story and has their own unique signature.Perhaps even yours?Tags : Collection Noire , Parfums
