"Sarrasins" is a nod to the fearsome Saracens who terrorised France in the Middle Ages. Serge Lutens travelled back to a time when words were held prisoner in the mists of time and dangerous liaisons were founded on fear and desire. This fragrance guards our secrets while stirring up a storm.
"Applied at night in a Moorish silence, it barely touches the skin before it starts to resonate, like a ritual conducted in gilded surroundings. I took white jasmine and contrived to make it as black as a panther, as black as night, which is embodied in this fragrance." Serge Lutens
